David Lifferth was elected to the Utah State Legislature representing Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain, Utah.

Lifferth is founder of n4mativ, which produces leading edge information technology. He has accomplished much in his extensive career in the genealogy, family history, and information technology. Lifferth works as a Business Intelligence Analyst for FamilySearch. Lifferth was a founder and former president of FamilyLink/WorldVitalRecords. He was a former content engineer at Ancestry.com. Lifferth was a founder and developer for LingoTek, which has become a successful translation technology company. He was a Co-owner of Data Management Group that developed two of the 2002 Winter Olympic web site databases.

Lifferth graduated from Brigham Young University with a Business Degree in Information Management.
