Laura G. Prescott

Laura G. Prescott is a professional researcher, writer, and speaker. She graduated Dartmouth College with a B.A. in History. Originally from Charleston, WV, she has lived in New England for over 35 years. She worked for the NEHGS before starting her own research business in 2005. Laura Prescott Research Services, LLC, promotes the highest standards in genealogical education and research. Laura is past president of APG and a consultant at Fold3.com. She speaks at regional, national, and international conferences on a variety of genealogical and historical topics. She has written for Ancestry, NGS NewsMagazine, Digital Genealogist, and New England Ancestors.
