Description

Perhaps you think that this class will only be of interest to those Hispanics/Latinos that have identified in their family history an ancestor of Spanish origin or nationality. All who colonized Hispanic America were Spaniards so sooner or later your research will be in Spain and its rich historic records. Unless the blood of your ancestors never mixed with colonizers, political exiles or emigrants from Spain, which did happen in the majority of cases, sooner or later you will have to cast your eyes on Europe and review the shared history that has united Spain and America for six centuries.
Fortunately, numerous Spanish archives have saved hundreds of thousands of documents and historic records, and many are accessible via the Internet. Search among them and you might find your own piece of history.
Are you ready to find Spanish records at home from the comfort your own couch?

Sonia Meza

Sonia-meza
