Description

It is important to share your pictures, home movies, documents and other valuable memories with your family. Keeping them in your home makes them vulnerable to fire. Digitizing them is a great way to get them out of your home and into the hands of your family. We will discuss how to digitize yourself or use a service and back all of it up offsite. You can digitize your memories for a relatively low cost. If you can’t attend the class I outline how to do everything in the class syllabus.

I like tinkering with technology. I owned a computer business where we did IT out sourcing for small businesses. I taught backup and preservation techniques to business owners and help setup these systems. I am a web developer for Familysearch.org. I enjoy family history. I am working to preserve all documents and pictures my family has.
