Description

How can we write our life story without glossing over life as it genuinely happens? Whether we journal or blog, someday our posterity may read what we have to say, and when they do, will they get to know us as real people with struggles and challenges? This workshop will discuss ways to record life authentically in our writing, but still inspire and teach our readers.

Stephanie is a mom who likes to play with her family and study and write about her faith. She writes a blog on motherhood called Diapers and Divinity, has contributed essays to two books, and is currently preparing a book for publication. She is a part-time faculty member at BYU, in the department of Church History and Doctrine and teaches classes at EFY- Especially for Youth. She loves naps and restaurants equally, spends more time than she would like to admit on Facebook, and plans to read her children stories until they are adults.
