I've Never Done a PowerPoint!
This hands-on workshop is for those who have never done a PowerPoint slide show before. PowerPoint can be as simple as coloring by the numbers or as complex as an Impressionistic painting. Fortunately, PowerPoint 2010 [the version we will be using] comes with pre-designed templates for a variety of uses.
In the workshop we will cover:
Part I. Name the Parts
Part 2. Getting Help in Different Ways
Part 3. Making a Simple Slide Show
Barbara Renick teaches at national genealogy conferences and the Family History Center in Orange, California; was a contributing editor for the National Genealogical Society computer magazine for eleven years; authored Genealogy 101: How to Trace Your Family’s History and Heritage sponsored by NGS for their 100th Anniversary; and currently serves on the NGS Board of Directors as secretary. The ‘Z’ Links page at her ZRoots.com Web site is also very popular among genealogists who use it as their browser home page.
