Description

Finding family in their counties of residence can often be accomplished by using County Websites. Learn how to locate these sites, the different types that are available, and how you can contribute to them to help other researchers. Information available ranges from detailed vital records to general historical profiles and from newspaper, land records, wills, etc. to the history of the region. Learn about your ancestors’ lives from those who knew their communities.

Jean Wilcox Hibben, CG, has about 35 years experience doing family history research. She is secretary of the Genealogical Speakers Guild, President (for the past 6 years) of the Corona Genealogical Society, and a Board member for APG (serving as President of the Southern California Chapter for the past 4 years). Director of the Corona CA FHC, Jean has an MA in Speech Communication and PhD in Folklore.
