Family History Tech Workshop
The annual Family History Technology Workshop will be held as part of RootsTech 2012 on Feb. 3, 2012 at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City.
Those interested in participating should send a 1-page abstract to Bill Barrett at barrett@cs.byu.edu by January 5, 2012. Final manuscripts may be up to 4 pages long.
The 2012 workshop features an international Program Committee consisting of top researchers in private, industrial and academic circles.
The workshop will consist of a keynote by George Nagy, one of the top names in Document Analysis and Recognition. There will also be a Demo Session featuring emerging technology. And as a first this year there will be a Developer Challenge/Competition sponsored by FamilySearch.
